Do you believe in demons? Dr. Daryl Donovan, Senior Pastor of Sanibel Community Church does and has written a book about it. On Wednesday, March 21st, he will share in a book signing event at the Carpenter’s Café on the Church campus at a come and go gathering from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be free hamburgers, chips, faithful frappes, and Pastor Donovan’s own home made chili. A love offering receptacle will be available for those who would like to donate to Feed the 5000 Now, an initiate to care for the hungry.
Esther’s Friend, released in an all new edition with illustrations by Pastor Donovan’s daughter, Kay, is a Christian novel wrestling with the issue of demonization. While the story is fiction, the book contains an entire section of instruction on the reality of demonic influence, and the tools to overcome them.
During the evening, on the half hour, Pastor Donovan will give a brief overview of the book, including some of the teaching on demons. His daughter Kay, will join the Signing via Skype and will share her inspiration for illustrating the book.
Esther’s Friend is available for a suggested donation of $10.00, with 100% of the proceeds going back into ministry. Pastor Donovan receives no royalties for any of his published works. According to Pastor Donovan, “I write to inspire and inform, not for income. Sanibel Community Church cares for me and my family well.”
Come enjoy a night of fun, great food, rich fellowship and inspiration on Wednesday, March 21, at the Carpenter’s Café and Bookstore at the back of the church campus. It all starts at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome.
