Life Groups

A Life Group is a small group of people who gather together frequently, usually in homes, for the purpose of building relationships and helping one another grow in their relationship with Christ.

Ideally, our groups meet geographically, close to where the group members live, making it easy to get together for regular and spontaneous gatherings.

Anyone can attend. You do not have to be a member of Sanibel Community Church to participate in a Life Group.

We study during group time, as well as provide mentoring for new believers. If you are interested in additional information or joining a Life Group please call Pastor Barb Nave.

Faith Mentors

At Sanibel Community Church, when someone surrenders his or her life to Christ, we provide a Faith Mentor to assist that person in their first steps with Jesus.  For six to eight sessions, the mentor will meet with the new believer and study foundational issues of the faith.   We use a mentoring tool developed by Bill Bright, entitled, “Five Steps to Christian Growth.”   Our desires is to be faithful to the call of Christ to make disciples. Every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. we offer practical, Biblical studies for all ages.

Wednesday Night Alive

Each Wednesday we “dig in” verse by verse using a simplified inductive method.

Men’s and Women’s Discipleship

Throughout the year SCC has opportunities for men and women to go deeper with Jesus.
