Steps Toward Membership

Here at Sanibel Community Church we value the covenantal relationship of Church membership.  Because we are serving the wonderful Islands of Sanibel and Captiva we offer a dual-membership for folks who are here only during the cooler months.  Our process for membership includes a few important steps.

STEP 1:  Attend a New Comer Reception

Here’s a good place to come “check out” Sanibel Community Church.  You will see a short video, have some time for questions, meet some of our leadership…and then receive instructions about STEP 2.

NEW COMER’S RECEPTION DATES

June 14, August 16, October 18 and December 13.  All at NOON!
Refreshments served.  Session last about one hour.

STEP 2:  Attend a New Member Class

At our reception you will receive a packet that includes important documents for you to read, and forms for you to complete.  Bathed in prayer, if the Lord is leading you to connect with Sanibel Community Church your next step is to come to a New Member Class to dig in deep about church membership.

STEP 3: New Member Class Dates

Lunch is served.  Session last about two hours.
Reservation must be made at least 10 days prior to the class.

Turn in all of your paperwork and get joyfully involved in the life of Sanibel Community Church, bringing glory to our Lord Jesus Christ!
