New Member Luncheon
Sunday, August 1 ~ 12:00 p.m.
Many have expressed interest in becoming a member of Sanibel Community Church. On Sunday, August 1 we would like to give people that opportunity. In order to become a member you must:
- Register for the luncheon: You can sign up at the Welcome Tent or cll the Church office.
- Read all materials and complete all information, including your faith testimony in the New Member Packet prior to the luncheon. Bring those completed materials when you attend the class.
- Be in agreement with the Doctrine and Distinctives of Sanibel Community Church and affirm the Membership Covenant.
Teen Challenge Rally

8th ~ 9:00 & 10:45 a.m. Services
Teen Challenge is a ministry that has been in service for over 50 years. The ministry is strictly dedicated to helping individuals break the bondage of addiction through the power of the Holy Spirit. Sanibel Community Church has been in an ongoing relationship with the organization for over 9 years. On August 8th SCC will host the men and women of Teen Challenge as they lead a Rally Service for the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services. They will lead us in worship through music, giving of testimonies, and through drama presentations. Please join us as we celebrate our God as the One who delivers, heals, and sets us free!
Family Fun Day at the Beach
Saturday, August 14
Fun for the whole family - kids, moms and dads, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Algiers Beach. All families with kids are invited to come and stay the whole time or drop by and stay for awhile. Bring food for your family to eat and something to share - no need to fuss. There will be a pop-up tent for shade. Bring along some beach toys or game ideas. Just have fun getting to know the other families at SCC. Invite your friends.
Prayer Concert - Worship & Waiting
Sunday, August 29 ~ 6:00 p.m.
We are inviting you to come into the sanctuary for a time of worship and waiting in the presence of the Lord. in this concert of worship and prayer, we are believing God will manifest his presence in our lives as we take time out to wait before him through song and prayer.
