Sermon: Empty Servants
Scripture: Philippians 2:1-11
From the Pastor:
Thank you Father for granting me the grace to speak again! My voice is “coming back.” And I am coming back to the pulpit this Sunday as we jump back in to our Philippian Flip! This Sunday is Communion Sunday, and the flip fits perfectly as we talk about dying to live!
Also, make sure you put it on your calendar and plan to come to the awesome Smorgasbord on Sunday evening, September 28 at 5:00 p.m. You will hear about some amazing opportunities to be followers of Jesus, being a disciple …and making disciples. No need to sign up. Just plan to come for a fantastic meal …and tons of fun!
Honored to bring the Word,
Pastor Daryl
On Sunday, August 17th, the H2O young people of Sanibel Community Church will be hosting YOUTH SUNDAY during all three worship services that morning at 8:00, 9:00, and 11:00 a.m. The youth will be involved in worship, skits, and sharing testimonies about their recent missions trips to Staten Island, New York, where 50 of them were involved in presenting a Vacation Bible School at New Hope Community Church’s summer camp, and praying for families in the surrounding neighborhoods. All are welcome to come and hear what the Lord did in New York and what He continues to do in their lives since they’ve been back. For further information, call Pastor Kevin Schafer at 239-472-2684, or [email protected] Sanibel Community Church is located at 1740 Periwinkle Way.
