We are H2O… “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink” Jesus, John 7:37. We believe that we all have needs and wants that this world cannot satisfy. Jesus says He can and proves to us each day that He can. His love for us is incredible and worth pursuing and at H2O that is what we do-pursue Jesus and get to know Him even more.
H2O Student Ministries exists to introduce teens and young adults to a saving belief in Jesus Christ and to then provide them with sources for spiritual growth where they will have the opportunity to develop a Godly lifestyle that will create mature relationships and promote service to both God and others. The goal of SCC Student Ministries is to connect students with God through worship, studying the Bible, small group discussion, prayer, and experiencing life together. We meet each Wednesday in the Youth Center, which is on the second floor of the Family Life Center at Sanibel Community Church.
Middle school youth group starts at 5:00 p.m. At this time, the snack bar opens at 5 p.m., providing not only great food, but with and time to hang out together. They then transition to a time for Bible study and small group discussion. At 6:30 p.m. the high school joins the middles schoolers in the youth worship center for announcements and worship in song. After this time, the middle schoolers leave and the high school students spend time together in God’s word and small group discussion. The evening concludes at 8:00 p.m.
